From Rijeka to Karlobag, or even further south?

Been there, done that! Few times

If possible, be there in June! Good weather and no tourists!

If in Zagreb, gimme a call or drop a line on mail!

Cheers

yes, we drove there last year from london through swissi / france / italy / slovenia inj june or july dont' remember exacly. the weather was so warm.

we did from rieka to zadar, the road survace is super sticky, awesome scenary, nice fast pace road. do you know if after zadar the road is still good as the fist part?
becouse if it is, probably next year we will be going all the way to split.

we was in karlowac, friend is from there. strangly enough the road surface inside the croatian country is so slippery.

i bet there aren't many husby owners over there. do you guys have a dealer over there?

Not sure about road quality after Zadar, will ask friends tomorrow. They are more often down there.
Road surface is slippery in some cities. Ask your friend to take you to old Karlovac-Rijeka road. Wow ...

Regarding Husabergs in Croatia, you would be surprised. We do have quite a lot of Bergs here, but 85% (or even more) of them are enduros. Also, we do have H-berg importer here since late 2002. http://www.tego.hr, if somebody is interested.
Please, keep in mind that Croatia has cca 4,5 million citizens, which is equals to one half of London, right?

OK, then ...

South from Zadar - more "scenic" than "race" oriented but very good. Be carefull approaching cities (traffic).
If possible, ride all south to Dubrovnik and Montenegro border. You wont be sorry ...

Cheers, Goran

Yeah absolutely. When I did the trip in 2002 I did it in a sailing boat though - from Split to Dubrovnik and back again via a load of the islands. It was lovely.

I guess when you take the road you'll come over the bridge into Dubrovnik that is in the attached photo.

All the best,
Simon
