Hi folks!

I have a '94 FE350. I am in the final stages of a top end rebuild, and need a couple of valve guides. I realize that someone can order them for me from Husaberg, but thought a dealer might have them in stock, to help me get them sooner; as I am hosting a ride next weekend, and would love to take the FE with me to try it out in the mountains.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?
I called Motoxotica today. They were both extrememly helpful, but only had one valve guide in stock. I will be calling on them again.

any one know if the newer valve guides from a 2001-2003 r berg, part # 20021401 can be used in jims 1994 bike as we have quite a few of those in stock?they all use the same seal.dan

no dan, sorry.

1994 has very particular valve guides.
they stopped making them at 1996.

they are not available from husaberg anymore i think.

the only solution is to go to a specialized machinist and it will b
e a piece of cake finding guides to fit.

my 1994 for example has valve guides from a bmw m3 or something..

I will second Oyk's bmw m3 valve guide recommendation. The machine shop that has done all the head work for my bike turns the M3 guides down to work in the Husaberg head. And, supposedly they are better than the stock berg guides as they are a bit harder and last longer.

Have a word with Kibble Whites (Black diamond valves.com), if you can give them the dimensions they could have some thing straight off the self.

Regards

Sparks.

I want to really thank you for your efforts on this. Between the valve guide I just ordered from you, and the one that Husaberg USA parts had in stock, I should soon have my '94 FE350 singing her sweet songs again.

Kudos to you!

Good Riding!

PS. If any of you all ever get lost and end up in my area, give me a bump. I will take you on some of the best "under 3,000' elevation" single track woods riding that you will ever find.
