I think that the unfavorable exchange rate of lately would nullify any savings that could be experienced by circumventing your countries hefty tax burden.

In other words its probably not worth it purchasing overseas.

Another place to buy is Euromotors, located in michigan. They have been much cheaper than motoxotica in my experience.

Unfavorable? The SEK/USD hasn't been as favorable in 10 yrs as it is today.

I suppose if you were to purchase a 100% American made product with Kroner's you would be absolutely correct . However since the dollar has lost value in Europe it seems to me that it would be a wash at best because we are paying much more for your products. If you factor in the true cost of trade, shipping, handling, insurance, warehousing, distribution and retail merchant costs I don't think this equation is economically feasible.

Please allow me to clarify. Unfavorable for us.

Good for you=bad for us

However husaberg parts prices in general are quite favorable when compared to other brands. I think that much of the over inflated Japanese parts are due to the dealerships marking parts prices up over list. In our area all the Japanese brand dealerships mark up over suggested retail. Mention an "internet price" and they will immediately drop 10% off the price.

Now if you need Honda parts the only place to go is Service Honda.

I don;t know how much the swedish currency is worth against the dolloar but I know I buy quite a bit of AFTERMARKET parts from the states..Things like scotts and gpr dampers are half the cost of the UK. This doesn't apply to everything but I certainly feel it pays to shop around.
The only problem I've found doing this is that when the seller states the value in dollars on the shipping form, UK customs think it is a pounds sterling value and charge import tax for that amount...no arguments , they will not give you the package until you have paid what they state (tossers). Most sellers are willing to mark the package as a gift which means it cannot be taxed

I reread my original post and the wording is just wrong.

Well at the very least I think that I knew what I meant, mabe not :sign6:
