Great site you have here...
I ran across a great opportunity to buy an 08 FE450 or FE550 but need help choosing
am 5.8 , 180 lb . not a racer and will be doing trails most of the time
I read as much as I could on the site and realized the 550 is better for open places and the 450 for the tight ones. I also understood the the 550 has more power and that the 450 is "easier" to ride all day long. am I missing anything? I was leaning towards the 450 and then started thinking the 550 might be more fun... will be riding in the north Texas area if it makes any differences.
A few more questions:
1. how much can an aftermarket street-legal kit cost? the dealer is asking 500 for the original one but I have no idea if it is worth it or not
2.any thing in particular worth checking considering this are factory demo bikes which come with warranty
