Hello fellow husaberg riders, my name is samuel and i am from Norway so please excuse my bad english grammar.
Anyway i just bought a 2007 husaberg FS 650 this is the most powerfull bike i have ever owned and i would like it to last so i was wondering if any of you guys could give me some pointers to help me take care of the bike, and also where can i Get parts for this bike like plastic parts and Engine bits? I was also wondering if there is any way to restrict the power on the 650 because the cops are realy strikt here in Norway and i dont want to Get in trouble.

Hi
I do parts and I do plastics.

restrict it/ well that would be sad but if I recommended anything it would be to fit the 2001-2003 FE400e cam which has the code '01' on it.

I have a few, as you can imagine, people aren't running to my door for this cam. would gladly do an exchange with you but it would be smarter to hold onto your cam i feel.

Hey, and thanks for answering i am not planning on restricting It i am just triyng to gather all the parts i need to do it in case the cops put it on a dyno. because Here in Norway you can only get this bike A2 registred so it can only have like 30bhp or something anything above the BHP limit for A2 and They confiscate the license plate until you bring it back and show Them that it is restricted below the limit. So the parts i think i need is some Kind of restrictor in the carburator as well as in the air filter and stock muffler with db killer i believe there is something that prevents the gass to be fully opened aswell not sure any way i would like to buy some of this parts if you have?

they produce 65 and you want 30? mmmmm?

cam is the best way.

Hello
We have the same problem in switzerland. When i need to restrict it i usually put a little tube in the carb slide, over the cable so it only opens max half way. Once the cops did not like that either, so i made a metal plate mit 4 small holes in it an put it under the airfilter. But then you have to change the Jets so it runs ok. A lot of work, but then they must be happy. Worked several times here in switzerland.

Cheers
Andy
