Hi, anyone know if the low seat is just less foam, or does it use a different pan that is a little lower?

Thanks

Less foam. No room under the pan.

If you think the stock one is hard on the arse...the low is like a plank

Yikes, OK, thanks for the intel on the low seat. I feared it would be a harder setup.

I guess I'm off to get a Seat Concept low seat foam, or cut one myself and add softer foam while in there.

I suggest you get the X-bushing and set it to the shortest position.

I'm 5' 10" and ONLY did it to improve the handling. it lowers the rear. you then lower the clamps by the same amount.

On my previous exc 530 I had the ktm option so a lower seat, it was about 15 mm lower than the stock seat & slightly more uncomfortable than sitting on a plank of 4"x 2" timber, there a better ways of lowering your seat than that.

you could do the X bushing and a spacer inside the rear shock. again you won't affect the bike in any other way. there is no loss except for some anti-squat.

if you went to a shock specialist and said: 'all I want is fresh oil and a 3 or 4mm spacer' I would only expect a relatively small charge.

I just bought E-Ticket's 390 and found it a little tall for me. I installed the X Bushing and the Husaberg low seat and now it's perfect for me. I'm about 5' 8"/5' 9" and although I'm not flat footing it, it's just where I want it so going thru rock gardens I can "dab" effectively. All in all it's probably about one an a half inches or a little less shorter than stock. When I got the seat I was concerned it was going to be too hard, because it is harder than the one which was on the bike but the shape fits my butt so it's comfortable, even on a long ride. DK

Is the X-Bushing with Z-Bolt compatible with the 2011 Husaberg FE570S? The ad only mentions the 350 and the 450.
