Husaberg Investment

Hello Friends,
I am constantly bombarded with inquiries regarding Husaberg upgrade and / or repair components, engine building services and advice in general. I do the very best I can which is why I believe that despite my sometimes unpleasant disposition BMG keeps me around.

I am indeed an authorized representative of Husaberg. Unfortunately such is very time consuming and in ten years has yet to prove profitable. (Akin to Json and this wonderful website)

Why do it you ask?
Well, the short answer is because I have an emotional and financial investment in Husaberg which predates BMG some ten years.

Regarding BMG:
"In my humble opinion and regarding North America BMG is the best thing that has ever happened to Husaberg". That being said BMG is in the business of marketing hence the name "Barrett Marketing Group". Such involves product import, distribution and exposure not research, development an / or racing. I do indeed understand the concept.

Regarding aftermarket Husaberg modifications and / or upgrades:
I do indeed have many Husaberg products (including a Keihin carburetor kit). Unfortunately I lack the time and financial resources to set about marketing them. I make my living tuning motorcycles not developing and / or distributing products. I cater to the needs of the Husaberg owner the best I am able without completely compromising my income.

To the point:
If you require any Husaberg technical assistance I will do my very best to help you. If you are interested in seeking an existing (limited on hand supply) product and / or service be prepared to pay an above average "mass production" price. You will also need to be patient. Believe me when I tell you the cam grinder does not get all excited when I send him one or two Husaberg cores when he has an order for 1,000 CRF camshafts sitting on his desk.

Last though not least:
Should you have adequate disposable income and wish to take on the roll of financier and distributor for a line of Husaberg Performance Products (for which I have been pestering BMG) then we can talk about a limited contractual relationship regarding such. Make no mistake as I am no dummy and this not my first dance with the devil. A statement of nondisclosure and a notarized contract would definitely be required.

I gave up on replies from our northern friends months ago . I think of it this way. If you were to meet an alien, as soon as you could get over the mental hurdle of him being an astral being, you might be able to have a great relationship with him. Point being: we get what we get. We should make the most of any situation handed to us, and as the Motherland has proven before, we could do MUCH worse.

There's more active dealerships than I can remember ever having in recent history, a lot of effort going into getting more.

Sure we all would have liked to have a distributor who visits w/us on a regular basis, returns emails or pm's that are sent from the (without dispute) best advertisement they've never paid for, but I will smile every time we get another dealer, and thank BMG for every mile they put on their rides picking up more support.

parenthood

Esteemed Gentleman,
As it is with parenthood,where children do not need their parents as friends but as responsible and dependable providers ,so it is in business between customers and the supply chain.
Very little in life is perfect(even cam chains)it is only the will and the direction of the effort that can be judged.
I do feel that the term "webdude"carries a certain status...congrats json ......nsman

Nsman,
I have often stated to my beloved daughters that my role as parent is not that of being their friend and / or liked. My role is that of guardian and educator from which respect and love would eventually flourish.

As you have most likely concluded "integrity and respect are far more valuable to me than that of false diplomacy".

My unsolicited personal point of view:
I am fortunate in that I do indeed have a core group of close friends whom truly do like me for me. Next we have associates for which mutual respect is shared. Moving on their are those that I simply must work with in a civil manner despite conflicting personalities. Lastly their are those that I simply avoid as a result of meetings always proving both unpleasant and unproductive.
