Husaberg FE 450 2007

Hi there,

new to Husaberg. I drive a KTM 690 enduro R form 2013 and now recently a Husaberg FE 450 2007!!

KTM a bit heavy for offroading, although not a bad bike at all! I decided to get a secondhand bike for "light" enduro driving. Two of my mate drive FE450's (2005 and 2007, so I decided to get one too.

From the looks of it you didn't get a 2007, you got a 2008 ... great bike !

Licenseplate and papers tells me it is a 2007, but maybe it is a 2008 model but just released in 2007.
How would you know it is a 2008 model?

I really can't tell you without more details, the bikes are almost identical.
I'm just telling you by the graphics, it could be a 07 with the 08 graphics ??

Maybe it's 2008 model bought in 2007.

My KTM is 1999 model, the first registration 12/1998.

The compliance sticker in my 570 says 2008. Crazy.

Again, everything can be changed, but the only the 08 got the black rims OEM.

It's a great bike, it's the last of one era, the final development of the bike that started in 2001.

Framenumber is VBKHUA4017M329850 . Thanks for helping out. Bike is registered first november 2007, so might be 2008 model.

Hi it's strange, if the way they make the number hasn't changed it should be 2007, because the 10th digit it's a "7" ???

Can you check engine number ?

The starting year of all new bikes is September.
It's a 2008 year model from Sep 2007 and from Sep 2008 is 2009 model.

From what I can remember is that every bike that I have bought had September build date on it I think.

My 2008 says made on Sep 2007 and frame is 4098M 345294
Bro's is 4017M 329850 so it maybe a 2007 year but the photo shows a 2008 model, but the 2007 has red graphics on them, old mate must not be showing his bike.

I bought mine new 7/2009 the last berg in the world on the floor, well maybe.

I have a stupid mate who claims because he bought a bike or car new in year X it's a X year car, not so at all. he claimed that I got a good discount for mine and I said no I did not, it was a superseded model you fool I said, but No he claimed having a spac attack, you got a good deal. no I did not !

I mainly bought it because it had a good big 9L tank and carby as I did not want EFI at all. not to mention it was the best bike I have ever had so that's why I still have it.

My stupid mate has a 2007 650 and he wants to put the 2008 graphics on his and try and sell it as a 2008 year, I said you can't you *****, it's a 2007 regardless and it has Sep 2006 on it. so it's a 2007 year model, if he try's to sell it as a 2008 that's fraud ! that the ***** could go for.
