And I believe a transmission chain of an old air-cooled Maico is the same also!! Only it acts between the crank and clutch here.

Said chain features different rollers then that of standard 3/8 industrial chain. Do not go cheap regarding the chain lest ye shall be overhauling thy engine. 8O OEM "Regina" split roller chain.
