Kenny is visiting this week and as such the following prospect is rapidly gaining momentum.

Road Racer X:
If you’re looking for a route to road racing success, move to Spain. That’s what Kenny Noyes (son of American journalists Dennis Noyes) did after winning the now-defunct Formula USA dirt track national championship (actually, he was born in Spain before moving Stateside for his dirt track success, but you get the idea). Anyway, Noyes races 1000cc Folch Yamahas in the Spanish national series, and he’s working on a deal to hit a few AMA Lockhart Phillips Superstock rounds in 2006. Kenny will be getting help from Dale Lineaweaver, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him turn some heads.

Dennis Noyes and KR Senior are often traveling companions. I am confident Senior has been a source of inspiration regarding the stateside effort.

Sincerely,
Dale

PS
Many of the greats including KR Senior, KR JR, The Bostrom brothers, Doug Chandler, Kenny Noyes and our own RockyMT have the following in common: http://www.lodicyclebowl.com/

Dale, I'm flattered to be mentioned in the same breath as the rest, it will always be a special place to ride, there are just some places in the (motorcycle) world that have a certain aura about them, steeped in history, "The Bowl" is one of them. It's very cool seeing kids like the Bostroms, etc. that we both had the opportunity to see develop their skills flattracking and grow into the riders they are today. (ya know yer gettin' old when you keep saying "I remember when.....") Anyway, for those of you who don't know, Dale has mentored some of the best and brightest, and continues to do so today (Kenny being an example) as he's not only blessed with mechanical genius, but the rare ability to "get into" his riders heads and translate their vague statements and references about what a bike is doing into adjustments, and constructive riding critique to help build (multiple) champions. I'm lucky to know him, as a friend and a tuner/builder, and the sport is better from his contributions.
