Hi there i just bought a husaberg 570 fs and i have some problems.

Ill try to explain my problems whit the bike.when i first got the bike and drove it it ran out of battery so i recharged it and tried to drive it again and once i stop the engine check what Volt its on it is at around 12.20-30ish which is to low .

So i called the shop i bought the bike at and explained my problems and i told him i think the battery is broken. And then he sendt me a new one . Once i got it i put it back in the back and i got the same problems.

But i recharged it and started the bike up and drove the bike like a maniac because i was so pissed of .. And once i turned the bike off the battery was over 12.40V which its suppose to be at.

So what im trying to say is that it seems like the bike wont recharge it if i drive normally on the roads . But if i drive it like i would on a track it seems to charge fine.

This is a problem since its a street legal bike.

Is there anyone that know what might be the problem?
Im very sorry for my poor English hope you can read it whit out to much pain :)

you can see what the voltage is with the bike running at idle and/or at say like 3,000 rpm, mine at idle does not output a lot of voltage i think its like 12.5-12.6v but when you rev the engine slightly (3000ish rpm) the voltage will get up to 14.5v which is expected from the charging system, our bikes are totaly different but the charging system should still operate the same. if you only have twelve volts when its being revved on you may have an issue with the voltage regulator/rectifier, wiring from the stator to recitfier, or stator problem itself. since i know nothing of you bike other then it looks cool, this is all i can help. good luck

First I would check to see what wattage the headlight bulb is. I'm not sure, but it's probably supposed to be 35 watts. The previous owner may have changed it to a 55watt or higher. When idling with the brake applied at stoplights you would be draining the battery. I had a 55watt bulb for a while, but it was making my tailight blow.

Does your headlight dim a lot when at idle with the brake applied? If so, idle may be too low, or you have a >35watt headlight.

Then check the idle and see if it's high enough. If you have a freind with a thumper you can match the exhaust note to his and find out what your rpm is.

Finally, check the ground and maybe clean or sand it where it connects. Check the other wires also and clean the connections with a small wire brush and use some dielectric grease on them.

Good luck, hopefully those checks fix it
