On internet a guy is selling a 2004 501 fe model, but I am not sure for year and model. Did 2004 still have grey fuel tanks? Is there a lot of difference in models 501 and 550? Cheers.

If the bike has a kokusan ignition and a keihin carb it should be a 2004 model. You can also see it in the frame number. But i don't know how.
