Hello , I am new to forum and think its best place to start solving my issue with recently 3 week ago bought Husaberg.

The problem is with the idle. When I bought it started well with the choke on and was running ok with choke on. Then when I went for a ride I could barely ride 1km when , while changing clutch bike wanted to stall. So when I was pulling clutch lever to maximum the bike just stalled in the middle of riding. I had to throttle it to keep it alive.

So I read that pilot jet might be the problem and as I didnt know the bike history it made sense- old petrol inside the tank etc.

I cleaned carb , and I couldnt see through pilot jet , so I cleaned it and put back together.

When I put carb back on a bike it didnt start at all. My friend then showed me the the thing- we took sparkplug and put a bit petrol inside the cylinder. Then started the bike. Bike now running but still with same issue. I have to throttle it to keep it running.

Screw under the carb is turned 2.5 turns. Running on 95 petrol

Hope I made any sense
Thanks in advance
Erik

probably completely the wrong PJ. if you have hot header pipes that are nearly red and the engine is 'flustered' then the PJ is too small or the PAJ is blocked. try blasting with air in reverse through the Pilot outlet backwards towards

A = the PJ
B = The pilot screw hole (with the PJ out)
C = the Pilot air jet in the front face of the carb.

check the slide plate says 'M' and not 'W'.

cheers
