Lot like the trails up here but DRIER!. I have not ridden there but on my list.
Thorzburn, you ride a lot like I do. I try to have fun, see the sights, and not scare myself stupid! Over here in Alabama, there are no one-way trails. You might be poking along in harmony with the trail when somebody comes from the other direction at WOT. I like to ride out of the woods in the same condition in which I rode in, you know? Beautuful area there in Oregon.
The light seems to have been fairly challenging on the ride for both eye and camera with repeated changes from full sun and glare to deep shade and back again. The camera adjusted pretty well to the light, but I wonder if a lens hood might be available for that camera to help it handle when it's looking into the sun. If so, it might help with those lens flairs.

Your video sure brings back memories! The the front fender of your bike looks just like the one on the first Husaberg I owned - a '96 FE501 that I bought new from KTM of Gresham. I wondered what it looked like like around Brown's Camp but have never had the chance to go there myself. The closest I've been is some dual-sport riding around Mt. Hood and years ago I did some mt. biking in the area. I do need to get over there sometime.

RPD501, It may just be your 1st 'Berg I'm riding. Its a '96 FE501 I bought from a guy in Hood River in 2007. She runs pretty good, but needs cooling fans fitted, Gets a little hot in the trails. Browns Camp is nice for the trails & beauty of the Pacific Northwest, But unless you go on an off-day, its so busy, its dangerous (speed demons, quads on single track, little "bobble heads" on their 50's, etc,etc.) This was filmed on Mothers day, very few riders out.
Ruger, I have the camera mounted upside down under my helmet visor, maybe not enough overhang to cut the glare. I'm no cinematographer, maybe I should change my mounting position.
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong with my uploads to Youtube, but my video looks OUTSTANDING on my computer, full HD, but when I watch it via Youtube, it's shiite. Any input graciously accepted.
And twistednuts, If your son is behind you yelling at you to go faster :cuss: , you may be a slow-poke! Any fellow slow-pokers in the area, shoot me a PM & we'll go impede traffic together :lol:

Nothing wrong with a relaxing ride, anyway with a trail so pretty if you go too fast you would miss it. Anyway this dirt bike thing is all about having FUN not spending most of the ride terrified, fast slow or anywhere in between it's all about enjoyment, but you already knew that didn't you.
