Hello, I would like you to write about what you can fit valves, seals and other parts to the Habsburgs
I heard that the valves fit from ktm 520
and valve seals from the 1.8T engine from the VAG group, many users have a problem with it, so if you know something, write.

the KTM valves are 1mm shorter. this sends the tappet screw inside the nut so that only 2/3rds of the nut is in contact.

I'll help you avoid mistakes ...

Thank you for the answer, I think that 1mm will not be that important, I had a husqvarne tc 610 where the engine is very similar and I also set up shorter valves, the husqvarna works so far.
Does anyone know where I can get a connecting rod for fc 600?

Rods. I have them. OEM and manufactured.

no, it doesn't make a difference as long as you can lock off the locknut and feel confident. I sell the correct length but it has a teflon coating for a lot more money.

30mm. My exhaust valves are the same price but the correct length.

can you tell me about the failure rate of husaberg engines? because it is believed that husabergs are emergency and it is better to avoid them.
I heard that the best engines were from 99-00, but how does that relate to the older and newer ones?

They can be reliable? quite honestly, people buy them too cheap and then try to run them cheap.

the man with the 100,000$ Rolls Royce will have the engine rebuilt properly, the man with the 300$ motorbike won't even give it a spark plug.

look at you, cutting corners already THEN asking how reliable are they after you bought it!

The level of skill needed as a mechanic is very high and if you put cheap motorbike with poor mechanic with no money = well guess!

the earlier bikes aren't more reliable. the 2001-2003s are the poorest for sure. They have inbuilt factory problems but all can be overcome.

there isn't a bone in my body that will let me do a poor job of a rebuild but I have to hear it and see it everyday. they all buy their bikes for $1,300 and do $50 of bits and then the next thing you HEAR is........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

they're gone.

sold up.

and they only did half a job leaving the next guy to ride for 1-4 hours before they hear a 'bang'.

I think you are right people buy husabergs because they are cheap and practically do nothing in them. I bought my motorcycle cheap, but I made the engine from 0
-all bearings and seals new
-crankshaft
-new piston rings
-he head after regeneration
-cylinder after regeneration
-new candle
-new timing chain
- new oil filter
+ keihin carburetor modification after regeneration
do you think it will last a long time without renovation?

So how well did I understand the best husaberg engines are in the 99-00? Do you think they are more reliable than for example the husqvarna ktm?

No they are not more reliable. the KTM was a new design in 2000. one finished as one started.

reasumując dla tych którzy by nie chcieli zbyt często naprawiać swój motocykl lepiej wybrać ktma lub husqvarna ?
