I walked into my garage tonight to pick up a tool. See the Husaberg laying there and I decided to see if I could not rearrange the starter solenoid so the cables don't get in the way if I fall. In doing so I shorted, sparks flew, and I got a bit scared that I broke something.
So I decided to try and see if the starter works fine, turned on the ignition and pressed the button. The starter churned, and the engine roared to life. 8O
It is a 2001. It is not supposed to start on the button. I rode it yesterday evening for 5 minutes and that's it. Is it supposed to be able to start when cold at all?
Could it be the upgraded starter sprague and starter idle that Bobzilla put in this bike? Just the fact that the battery was all juiced up to the max? With a bit of gasoline vapor in the carb and mix in the cylinder? Also the fact that it is not really cold, as the temperature in my garage is of about 100F? It is has the Delcrapo carb...
