Hello

I`m reaasembling the engine but now I have a problem.

I want to tighten the 27mm nut in the clutch hub to 120Nm. But I can't lock the gears, and the wheel is spinning.

In the repair manual from 2004, it says to use clutch holder 800.29.003.000 (can't find it online) and also to use gear wheel segment 800.29.004.000.

I read something about to put a rag between gears to lock them.. does it work?
Also to shift to 6th gear and stand on brake pedal..

Does anyone have a good and cheap solution?

Best regards Robert

You can make a clutch tool from old clutch parts
The cheapest is to drill through the plates of an assembled clutch pack and put pins through the holes.

Some have used a copper penny. I have used a plastic Bondo spreader with good luck....

i have the factory clutch locking tool in stock.

other than the things said above, i used to assemble all the plates and press down with my thumb and then use an air gun (impact wrench to the 'septics') on max for a couple of seconds.
