First of all,
hello, I'm new here :D

My name is Nino and I'm a new owner of fs650e 2004 with full akrapovic :)

my idle is too high. Where is screw on FCR41 for fine tuning?

Second thing is that when bike is working on idle (too high obviously), coolant went from that pipe out off the bike (don't know the right word for it on english). Is this normal?

Thanks

Black knurly deally, just behind the loose fuel line in this pic. (I think 2004 has the keihin carb like this 05')
Clockwise should turn the idle down.

These bikes can't sit idling for long without overheating. You maybe boiled over a bit.

Fill so the fins are just covered. If you lost a lot of coolant You should drain the rest and refil with 30% coolant 70% distilled water. Or 40/60 if it's real cold in the shed.

In this pic find the coolant bleed screw just under the decompression cable. Its even with the sparkplug to the right if sitting on bike. Take a 8mm and crack the bleeder screw open after you've changed the coolant.(with the engine idling) Open it a full turn or so until water comes out uninterrupted, then retighten.

Hope you get it turned down and can ride it safely.

Cheers, Trevor

hmmm, bad news :S

I just saw that i don't have original idle screw, but it is same regular screw. Can someone tell me or measure what is original diameter of the idle screw???

And do i need to put apart all carburetor or can i change it when it is installed?

sry on my bad eng, hope that you've understaned me :)
