Guess you would say i am a newbee as never owned a Berg before. Picking up one tomorrow 2nd hand 08 concventional motor. Its a lot of bike when I look at the components, thats what did it for me, all the right stuff. Am a bit concernd over motor tho' will treat it well but expect reliablity in return.

Many thanks for the welcome burger, much appreciated.

mkcurtiss I live near Portsmouth in the UK but originate from the deep dark continent of Africa, hence the reference to bundu...

Welcome bundobasher,

Those 08's are sweet bikes. Have you had a chance to take it out riding yet? Also, what model did you get?

Thanks Danielsfc501.
I am glad the bike has your vote of confidence. I wanted the tank swopped over for a larger that was available and this slowed the process down. Went away for work and now will pick up tomorow or Saterday latest. Its a mint 08 model with conventional motor shape registered as an 09. I guy traded it with less than 1 hours use. I was about to buy a 200exc but couldnt resist the spec of this bike, got all the right components. Have a yzf426 at present that get rid of, is in good nick but starting is too much of a black art...

I plan to do regular oil changes and look after my bikes so hope it looks after me in return. Use will be green laning, Hound and Hare and Enduro events. Am past the stage of gung-ho competition so all about having good reliable fun.
