Thought I had this all squared away but after a few miles into a dual sport ride yesterday I started fouling plugs. The needle and needle jet are basically brand new, Dale Lineweaver went through the carb awhile back and the only thing I have done is lean out the pilot jet and raised the clip one setting from where Dale recomends it. I am very surprised to be fouling plugs. Is there possibly a choke circuit clogged or an air jet clogged that I am not aware of? Would a weak stator cause this and how can I tell? Opinions please, this thing is very close to the auction block!

well, don't everybody answer me all at once! Is anybody out there? Does any body care?

o loyal follower of the brand where hath thou been till today we ask?

this is typical of your SEM going west.

the check is to take the plug cap off and plug out. put the lead near to the head and kick it over. if it can spark 10mm it's still good. if not - it's about to go west....

regards

Taffy

I think I have been in denial! I was really hoping to wait till winter to replace the SEM.
SPARKS! I need you!

Thanks Taffy, I figure I will send it to Steve and go from there. No sense in having the old one sitting around here. Dont have much planned till November.
