I bought a fs 650 e and it's set for racing with no wiring onto her.
Can anyone assist?
I have a full wiring loom, lights battery etc, but no idea where it all goes!
Perhaps some photos of your road going bike maybe?
Any / all offers greatly received.

Thanks

Tim

You might find what you're looking for in the downloads section. If not, check out Husaberg.se as they also have an excellent download section.

(Hint): It helps to state what year the bike in question is.

Good luck,

No joy.
I have the service manuals and it's an 03 model.
I wanted someone to send over some images of what their bike looks like.
I really am not sure what should go where and some colour pictures would help me enormously.
I don't even know if all the bits are in the box of bits I have inherited!

All pictures greatly received at [email protected]

Cheers

i have a mate up here at mildenhall wjo is an auto electrician who might do it as some weekend work. PM me if you decide to go that way!

he's been right through my wiring-as per the owners doc and threw away acres of un-needed wiring.

I may well take you up on this.
I am looking into the local club racing too (negating the need for any wiring I know!) but only come up with on in the SE of England.
I can't find any one in Middx / Herts or thereabouts. Maybe they're my local club.
Any thoughts?
Also, how in blazers am I supposed to get any hands-on knowledge of SM as track days oncentrate on the black-stuff only?
Really ata a loss here as I' getting no where fast.

Cheers

Tim

well why don't you get dirty and there are a few clubs near and around! it's a lot cheaper too! you're a long time stopped and broke from SM or RR.

what's the harm in practicing your full dirt abilities and then your full tarmac ones another time?

sounds like two sports for the price of one to me. i know simon felt taking an actual dirt bike out opened his eyes a bit.

Bit confused.
I have some track based skills, but non on the off road.

I am after some where to get up to some sort of level so I can: 1) stay vertical all day 2) not make a prat of myself 3) not come in last.

You mention places / clubs I can do something positive but no names.

Please, some more info.

well do you have the wheels for dirt? and are you ready to trash your bike in mud for a day. if you are i'll look into it in depth.

last year we did a timecard event at little hadham outside stansted (airport) mountfitchet. that's close! then we have racing at milton keynes with TBEC and they're real close and cater to beginners.

let you know more if you're ready to go.

if you get busy at weekends the thing to do is practice during the week. it's a quick drive up to mildenhall or chippenham wildtrax.

i learnt on waste land at thetford which was really soft sand. one week i'd practice and i jumped better, the next it seemed my braking got better as i slid in.

5 years and 4 months ago i hadn't sat on a dirtbike before in my life!

there is an enduro practice track up at swaffham that is worth a visit. it's called "hit the dirt". go into google and type in 'tbec' or 'trail bike enduro club' and catch up on them. they will do for your first race as you'll be comfortable among other novices there.

i was lucky, i did it socially with three other lads and we learnt a bit more everytime we went out. we also shared what we learnt and it was sociable.

but you must practice first without pressure. an old bit of wasteland is still ideal or if you really have to-go to swaffham/mildenhall.

hope this is a good start for you.

perhaps you ought to tell us how ready your bike is for a stretch of dirtbiking? you may need to modify it.

out on the byways of hertfordshire i'd say you were coming to the right time of year for a novice to be out there. it'll be a bone shaker but you gotta do it!

regards
