as some of you know, i do an exchange camshaft. the knackered ones i get in usually have the cam code still emblazoned on the end.
i have had a couple that don't and they are different.
they are identical except for one thing; the whole cam sprocket mount is 3mm inbound towards the cam lobes. so the width is the same and the lobe centres. just the sprocket carrier ends up being different.
i say the width is the same, say within 1mm. i have to fit a washer behind the bearing and even then the line of chain is 2mm out.
anyone know whay these cams are from?
