Please allow me to be the first to ask a dumb question:

What is that little round thing in front of your shock, mounted to the frame??? It looks like a crackerjack prize!

Looks like a UK road tax emblem disc. Interesting UK rules regarding the placement of it. Usually located on the side of the front fork.

yup! we call it the tax disc but the officil name is the RFL-road fund licence. you have to go to the post office in the UK with the MOT certificate, money for your RFL and an original of your insurance certificate. finally the registration document must be in your name as well.

after you've filled in the form you get a tax disc and it must be displayed infront of the rider (on 'the nearside') ... which it isn't but the pow-leece aren't too bad in the uk. something like that wouldn't even interest them!

the traditional place for ALL tax discs is behind the steering stopper bolt on the nearside.

Graphics are 04 but take a closer look at the clutchcover... all one piece, 03 or older....

Yep, its a tax disk ( soon to be relocated higher up i think ). Bike's a 03 with newer plastics on as the originals were a bit scruffy

Yes RISKY1 you have a hawk eye.we have the same tax disc in greece but we dont use it. We put the sticker on the plastics.
