Hi, names Kevin and I've been riding my whole life. Started on an; old Honda 80, moved up to Kaw Kdx 250, then a Ktm (2 stroke)350, to a Husqvarna wxe 350 finally decided I'm quite happy with my slightly used 99 fe400 Berg. Completely refreshed whole bike and made street legal. Love my Husaberg and look forward to this forum in the future of my love for motorcycle maintenance. Thanks in advance for the knowledge that I will be certainly utilizing.

I should add that it was beyond a hassle to start when I first got it. Like many other posts I"ve seen I thought I would add to them with my own experience. First, tested my stater and was pleased with the correct resistance's (phew). Adjusted valves (way too tight), cleaned carb (noticed idle and mixture screws were way out, (something like 4 or five turns on mixture) continued to check everything else, check and fixed a wrong gap on the spark plug. Well guess what? Bike starts perfect every time! Usually have to use choke even on hot starts though, but oh well. Anyways, understanding the frustration of other bikes giving me starting issues (mostly husky's) I'm beyond pleased with the consistency of these one kick cold and hot starts.
