Headlight Switch

I took the my 6 week old 2010 FE450 out this weekend and ran into a problem with the headlight switch. Basically, it broke. The three-way switch wouldn't move and, when forced, something (maybe a spring) shot out and hit me in the chest. Now the switch just flops around and doesn't engage in any position.

Is there an after-market switch made for this bike? Has anyone else had this problem?

I have had several fail and had them replaced by HBG. Sicass racing at 248-625-0187 makes switches also.

My switches freeze up too. Think it is after I wash the bike and leave it unused for a few weeks. I have been spraying a bit of WD40 in them when they freeze up.

I just ordered one from Sicass. Hopefully it will last a bit longer than 2 rides...
