It would be more that a little ironic that Husaberg was a reformed Husqvarna only to have the Husqvarna name come back to kill them again.

No, they will keep both brands, and probably the Husqwarna dealers will also sell Husaberg.

Typical!

CafeHusky = Goodbye Husqvarna

Husaberg.org = Googbye Husaberg

:lol:

2 brands are very different I predict they will keep both. If they are gonna axe one why would they still be investing in a Ewc team ect.

there has been quite a lost of assumption and talk by various websites and magazines, afterall its what keeps them in business, and this has been discussed previously.

but it wouldnt be a surprise if they kept both.

with the 70 degree husaberg they used to build the entire years bikes in one week so now they are even closer to the KTM's it probably takes less time than that.

husqvarna aren selling massive numbers so if they wanted too they could possibly do the same as they did with the 70 deg bergs and keep all brands alive.

it would be nice to hope.

Why would they kill a brand name that they own (husaberg), in favour of one that just have the name rights for some years ??

He's not on about killing the brand name!

Huabergs are going to be sold in Husky show rooms which is a 'a rescue package' for them. they've had some bloody hard times and of course they aren't going to have BMW engines in a couple of Months either so....

what if Husky did the MX and Husaberg the Enduro? under the same roof? they would compliment each other then wouldn't they?

Taffy

no they'll share engines alright if one has a headlamp it's a Husaberg and if it doesn't it's a Husky!

just a thought!

For those of us who like the Husaberg 2-strokes (me included), the 2014 model of their orange sibling are out now. Check www.ktm.at for info and specs. No FI or other major updates on the technical side though.
