A 15/48 geared Berg with FE ratios is virtually identical to a 14/50 geared KTM 520 in the first 3 gears, and only slightly different in the last 3

That is a very big difference!
No wonder I have had such a hard time dialing in my Berg. I had a few 525sxs with 6 speeds added and had them dialed. I have been trying to use only one tooth higher(in the back) on the Berg as I had no idea it was that much lower?

I have a spreadsheet I just plug all the inputs (gear ratios, sprocket sizes, RPM , tyre height etc and it calculates it all.
Those figures above are for an FE vs EXC comparo- The MXCs and SXs are different again.
