FX 450 number plate crossover?

Hi all,
I have a 2010 FE 450, and I want to take the headlight off and run a FX 450 style number plate. I was wondering if anybody knew which KTM front number plate was the same as a FX 450. I realize that I could just get a FX number plate, but I have a KTM dealer very near, so I would like to buy from him.

Hi,im useing a plate of a ktm 250 sxf07,which is perfect,the later one for the ktm sxf/sx 2012 does not fit coz i tried it!!!!!

Can someone else confirm that this number plate will work with the stock fe trip meter/ odometer? Does the factory fender cowl work with the numbet plate?

To use the odo/trip meter (if it is the same as the '08 and earlier ones) with a front number plate you need a different mounting bracket (KTM part) for the odo/trip meter which is made of aluminum and has a threaded hole for the number plate mounting bolt. You should be able to get a blue one from your Husaberg dealer which will look far better than an orange or black one for a KTM. I took the lights off my '05 FE550 a couple of years ago and bought a Husaberg front plate but had to trim it a bit to clear the shrouds (it may have been one for a '09 or later model).
