Interesting. Can't be left/right weight distribution? Does the left side of the motor look stock?
 
I remember hearing once that in most supermoto tracks there are more left turns than right turns, not sure if its true or why that would be, but lets just say that there are more left turns on the track, then i'd say this guy plans on falling alot and this is his way of not pinching a tube :)

I'll throw in my guess....
Without the battery or electric start there is lots of room to run the pipe on the right side...maybe even tighter with less chance of burns. I think the biggest benefit of the right side pipe is the ease of service to the clutch on the left side. Remember, this is an 02 bike so it has a one piece clutch side cover meaning you have to pull the whole cover to service the clutch. No exhaust in the way on this bike.

Exhaust pipe length = tuneable torque/power
Honda didd'nt shift the CRF 450 exhaust outlet to the left just for looks.

Well, I know nothing about the bike. On another note, nice bike! I'm sure the bike has been ridden hard ... At least the ad didn't say "never raced". Have fun with it, when I saw it on eBay UK I was glad it was over there and not here as my wife would be pissed if another one rolled in :D
 
the exhaust is the same as i run. it is a Doma system.

as KFS says it works because the starter motor and battery are gone.and you can have that left cover on and off really quick. the funny thing is, from the moment I fitted it three years ago all I've had is ignition trouble or needed to check customer's stators on my own bike.... wouldn't you believe it?

Doma was known as giving the best torque out of the box as opposed to the Rhino and Akro that gave peak numbers.

its a AKRO full system sounds really awesome . also i have a letter of authenticity about the bike bein made in sweden on 23rd october 2002 and is a 2003, its has been ridden hard but she been looked after
 
I stand corrected!

I thought Doma were the only ones to use the right hand side? where the silencer joins the angle on my Doma is the same as a srandard tailpipe so it is like a swapable junction for everything.

I don't think this is too odd. They would have to start the production run for the 03 bikes in 02. Look now, the 2014 huskies have been rolling off and they are late!
