I have an 06 450 in SM trim. Yesterday after filling I noticed a strong smell of petrol after filling up when I stoped at the first set of lights. Ignored it to the second set when I noticed it was literaly chucking fuel down the street. Pulled over closed the tank on both side and that cured the problem. I assumed maybe the float was sticking in the carb. Now though it looks as though the left hand side fuel pipe is split. Is this possible? is it any thing any one has seen before. How easy is it to fix?

Cheers Mark

Hey Mark,

It is always possible that the fuel line has split. A replacement length with connectors is a really simple thing to get sorted - most Husa dealers will be able to cut a piece for you to length. Otherwise its probably the float valve stuck.

Hope this helps,
Simon
