Ok, I went for a ride with friends today and 1.3 miles into the ride we had to pull our bikes under a downed tree. When I started it my buddy motioned at my bike down by the cylinder. Gas was dripping down the engine at a pretty good rate. To cut to the chase, we pulled the tank and checked all the fuel lines, but couldn't find any obvious leaking. The consensus is that it is leaking somewhere around the fuel injector area. My first guess is a clogged injector with fuel spraying from around the fuel line coming into the injector. Another indicator is that the bike would barely run after noticing the leak. We had to push the bike a loooooong way to where we could bring a truck to pick it up.
What do you guys think? Injector clogged? Other issue? The gas was definintely leaking under presure, probably spraying back toward the tank and pipe on the right side of the bike, then dripping down on both sides of the engine.
Help!
