fs650e supermoto igniton switch

hi can I fit an ignition switch to my 650 supermoto for added security at the moment you can just jump on it and ride or any other ideas for immobilising it

look at your kill switch and tap into it but do it where it can't be seen.

Here is a wiring diagram and picture of the ignition The bike will not fire but will turn over when wired this way

there is a wire behind the frontlight that just loops back
set a switch to that, that is what the ignition key do if you fit it.
if I remember correctly it is the same connector as the starter-button.

yep! follow the wiring diagram!

just remember that when the ignition is off the circuit is earthed and when the ignition is on it is open ended (in abayence).

you'll be looking at yellow/purple and yellow/black a lot.
