Well here is my question this fall I started looking for a berg FS650E and there was nothing left from 05 so I decided to wait until next year even if there was that 450c that I could have made street legal very fast. But today I saw a used 05 FS650E with 1800 KM(1125 mi) for 10 500$ cdn, and I wonder if I should go for it or still wait for the 06. just to help you guys a brand new 05 was around 12500$ cdn. Does the change for 06 worth waiting or the 05 if good? The only other thing I know about the bike for now is it been raced cpl times this summer and the guy got it in mid July, I will know more tomorrow when I talk to the owner of the bike.

as far as i know there are only cosmetic changes for 2006.

there will be some minor engine upgrades but nothing that would make me wait. check resale values and go from there.

Have Fun
Jeff

Changes for 2006:

· Front Suspension: Adjusted setting of front forks for improved and smooth response

· Rear Shock: New piston rod, new setup, improved flow of oil for better conduct, reduced risk of bottoming, better functionality

· Front Brake: New 10mm master cylinder on all FE models in spec. EU/AUS for better regulation of the brake; as a further improvement of the high level HUSABERG braking system

· Rear Rim: All FS models with 4,25â€Â

Well sorry I still don't have news cause the weather was crap today and the guy was sick the day before |I didn't get to try the bike but I manage to talk with him and here what he said, he is willing to get down to 10k instead of 10500, he got rad protector on the bike, got 2 chain, 1 extra rear sprocket and 6 or 7 liters of oil. My biggest thing is he will take my bike in trade in but only for 6k and I got the bike mid august so I think it's a bit low for a brand new bike. He told me he is usually doing the oil chances every 5 hours and changing the filter every third oil change.

ciao
out here in Italy the new Husaberg is known for nice new color scheme and some details, but still the best set up is found from 2004-early 2005 models with good breaks and 5 rear wheel.
All the best to You from Italy
