Hi Lads
I have the problem with my berg.
Its blow all bulbs arround.
I used multimeter and that what I found :
Battery voltage when engine off : 12,3 VDC
This same when engine running : 12,27 VDC , even when rev up the engine its still this same.
I meassured as well headlight bulb socket and that what I found :
When engine just running without touch the throttle i got 20 VAC but when I rev up the engine really high I got 76 VAC
So after that i focused on voltage regulator(rectifire).
When engine is running on neutral gear between black and yellow wires I got 20 VAC and going up to 80 VAC when rev the engine. I got 3 yes 3 VAC between white and black wire and this value is constant when I rev up the engine.
Weird thing is when I measured the voltage between red/yellow and brown wires and got arround 12,30 VDC and this value is constant when I rev up the engine at all , I got this same measurent when engine is not running.
I understand why is the battery not charged but why is blow the bulbs when there is only 12.3 Vdc coming out from this regulator.
Thank You all for reading this long post and sorry for any language mistakes. If any one has any questions please ask.
Regards
Tommy

Hi Tommy,

The lighting runs of AC, it sounds like it could be a grounding problem but talking electrical problems is one of the hardest things in the world, drop the ignition cover off and just check the condition of the windings on the stator particularly the soldered earth connections, these have been known to become unsoldered. If all is good it will be the reg/rec at fault.

Regards

Sparks.

Hi Sparks ,
Thank You very much for Your help.
I checked that stator like You suggested and white wire was loose :(
I soldered it back to the stator and everything is fine now , lights working and battery is charged as well :bounce3:
Im very happy now .
Thank You
Tommy
