I have been trying to find the website I found it on to no avail. I beleive it is for a 17 inch rear however. If I find it again, I will post.

Cheers

Simon

Got it done even with MPH.

Didnt bother with the ratios all that much

I used OPEN OFFICE which is a free OFFICE SUITE

Looks like I put in HTML to get it to upload

Looks like I cannot upload it at all. Lame.

there is something wrong with this chart, cause my bike has 40T Sprocket on the back and i am almost certain it has 16T in front, but haven't checked that for myself yet-and my bike makes 100MPH with this setup.
it is 2005 FS650e.
and i saw this in the faulty magnet and speedo thread which also means that i must have 16T up front:

Bought a new magnet from the Husaberg dealer. Perfect fit, probably made for the Beringer Disc, and just glued it in with sealant. New magnet is stronger than the old one and PROBLEM IS SOLVED.
I reckon the magnet looses its power over time ???

Just clocked 160 Km/h (100 mph).....
Gearing 16/42

Hello,
can there somebody mades something like this for a 2010 fs 570 supermoto?
Thanks forwards Tom

Such charts are good for comparison and giving you an idea what a change means, but they are often not very close to reality due to differences in the tire, the actual ability of the bike to reach that speed with the HP it has and the aerodynamics of the bike and the rider.

The reverse is also true - don't believe your speedo too much; most are optimistic, somewhat wildly so. My Ducati is 10% optimistic across the speed range, so was the BMW GS I used to have. Makes a big difference at the top end - 10 to 15 MPH worth. You may think you are breaking 100 MPH on your bike when you are barely breaking 90 MPH.

I want to use 13/45 for SuMo racing on FE570. What gearing preffer you? Thanks

Max speed with 13/45 (17") at 9800rpm calculated after GPS:
1 53,77
2 73,45
3 93,82
4 116,99
5 144,28
6 171,19

Max speed with 13/40 (17") at 9800rpm calculated after GPS:
1 60,49
2 82,63
3 105,55
4 131,62
5 162,31
6 192,58

I have a 36 tooth sprocket that fits a late model Yamaha, this looks like it will fit Husaberg also. Anybody know how fast that would be? 36 teeth on the rear?

What size have you on the front?

The front is 16. I ride on a higher speed road course design for sport bikes. The track has 2 hair pins but most of the turns im in 4th or 5th (and Im slow), on the straight I can get to 6th easily, and reach 160 - 170 with lots of room to brake. Speedo says Max speed was 177 which i dont remember hitting that speed but apparantly I did. I want to have 5th gear rev out a bit quicker, and have 6th rev out a bit quicker to get more top speed on the straight.

Ive got 5th gear going 160, I know this a few times I went out it was screaming through, and maybe thats when I hit 177 in 6th.

Ive got 16/38 Im thinkin to go 16/40

Hi,

I also ride an Husaberg FS 650e 2006', it only has 1900km at the moment (bought it new in April 2010 in a promotion), 2 days ago I've made 174 km/h on highway.

I was completely seated (normally), getting the wind on my chest and I felt that the engine still and more revs to do.
From my speed calculator I have ( http://www.racingsm.org/studies.php?study=vel ), with 16 - 38 @ 174 km/h the engine was making around 7050rpm in 6th gear.

Knowing that the engine still had a few more revs to make (I think more 800 - 1000rpm maybe, achieving ~8000rpm in 6th gear), the speed would be around 195 km/h which is amazing.

I will try in the future, on a non-traffic night @ highway the full top-speed of the Husaberg, but for example, the Berg completely smokes my KTM 520 EXC Supermoto with 14 - 42 in top speed..

On my speed calculator ( http://www.racingsm.org/studies.php?study=vel ) if you want to simulate the Husaberg FS 650, click on the MOTOCROSS / ENDURO BIKES and click on HUSABERG FS 650

Then, fill the Secondary Transmission Ratio (ex: 16/38 = 0.421) and the rear wheel perimeter and there you go.
