I have an 02 FS650, it's a heavily modified flat tracker. I bought it mid last year, first ride it was like a rocket ship in the carpark, but as soon as I got it on track and went WO it just bogged and lost power and pretty much could only be ridden up to 50% throttle before bogging. Didn't worry too much as it was getting a complete overhaul.
Rebuilt it all after this, new exhaust and a bunch of other changes and spent a couple evenings on the dyno getting it set up - Taffy needle in the FCR, ignition timing method from here etc. Starts straight up on the button and not too bad to kick over either. One the dyno it ran really well for extended periods of time, but only an inertia dyno so no real load.
Went out on the track and again, as soon as it's under load it just bogs and is basically unrideable.
I've been through the whole wiring harness, and replaced most of the switches for new ones, it had new coil and plug, stator readings are exactly what they should be.
So does this seem like an SEM ignition issue? Or is there anything else that may cause this behaviour? Mechanical or electrical
