foam air filters

I know this must read like a stupid question, but does a new foam air cleaner for a Husaberg need to be oiled? Aren't all foam air cleaners required to be oiled before use?

I've got some of K&N's filter oil in the garage already. Same type stuff, right?

Yep. I prefer the goop as opposed to the spray but that'll work.

the k&n oil is designed for the corrugated-type k&n filters, but i suppose you could use it for a foam type. if you use that, k&n also makes a watersoluble cleaner that works well.
