Hello Everyone,

Has anyone installed or use these two components together on a 570 FE 2011?

I am awaiting for my Vortex to arrive via UPS by this Saturday and off for installation. I've done lots of research and seem to come up with these two upgrades from stock.

Any feed back would be great!

Thanks,

Al

Well guys, I got the new bad boy pipe, sprayed high temp paint on the header, mid pipe and baked it and exhaust wrap with standard clamps. Just waiting for the 10 position vortex ECU to arrive.

Started her up and sounds real good. Looking forward to taking a spin next weekend after dialing in the ECU.

I used a 4.1 on my 2011 570 with the non street mapping and it ran very strong. There was no need for performance mapping. My 2010 FX450 has std mapping and a full FMF system and it works great. I've heard of guys adding performance mapping and it did not work as well as std pipe and mapping.

Unless you get more air to the motor, and redo the head, I'm not sure the ECU will really gain you much power. You might be just happy with the new exhaust.

let us know what you find

The Vortex has help reduce the popping during deceleration. With the help of KTM/Husaberg, my bike was reset with a few other tweaks they did for me. Overall, the ride last week and playing with the Vortex adjustments, went good. I am satisfied.

I have a 2011 fs570 with fmf 4.1 can ,jet hot ceramic coated pipe, sicass ignition map plug, shorai battery, and a remapped mail in ecu from Fritz at Gunnission Motorsports. It has smoothed out my bottom end and given a good top end hit with no backfire on decel. Its good but im wondering about the dna filter.Never enough lol

Nice setup you have skred. I got done removing the smog stuff. I also put my tank breather line on top like my old 450 and took the rest of the hose off. I'm still working on trying different maps and fuel settings. Maybe tomorrow or monday I will spend time dialing it in. She is running good. I decided to put on my spark arrestor. It seems like it still has a nice thump to it. Much louder when it's off.

I just got my ECU reflashed at the Dealer with the richer performance map and the popping on decel went away. I also have the 4.1 and love it!!!

Oh what a feeling when your berg is running great. Rowher Flats is riding distance from my garage and finally got a chance to let her thump. Ran strong and started up easily, no pop pop at all either.

Hello Everyone. It's been six months since I logged in here. I ended up adopting a 450XC-f 13 to my berg.

All the mods I added to my berg is running strong with no problems. What I do notice is if I take the spark arrestor off, the decel pop occurs. When it is installed, no decel pop and runs strong. Just thought I would pass this on since I had a lot of problems at the beginning when I first bought the bike. All good. Merry Christmas Everyone!
