Flywheel weight

Steahly can probably make you anything you want. Send him your flywheel and he'll add the weight you want with a brass donut. Brad

RE: Flywheel weight

good question cango. could you let us know how you get on? i'm pretty sure it's a first here. BTW many have had problems on road gearing or tall trail gearing. when you go to around 14/48 up to 14/51 etc they don't stall...

regards

Taffy

I was able to add 11 ounces to a flywheel on my 2002 FE400 and it turns it into a tractor. Not nearly the same launch, but NO stalling. Nice for trail riding when clutching alot. Not advantageous otherwise. Easily performed at a decent machine shop with a chunk of brass. Brad

Hi kangokaw
the 80039004000 flywheel part # does not cross into a ktm part but talking to trailtech
they claim it is the same flywheel this is of course unsubstanciated
they have heavier flywheels http://trailtech.net/store/motorcycle_flywheels.html so long VIKING
