Below is a link for a site that has a bunch of Picts and Videos.......
The Redmond, Oregon Picts and Vids are the long versions from the other thread.......
The fun part is to have two Bergs on one track in a small town in Oregon, 8O , go figure ?? racing on a smooth concrete floor........ The more FS 650 Bergs I see the more I realize mine (550) is lower and also pulls harder.... another fellow will come out this year for the SM series up here so we will see the comparison on the bigger longer straight stretches.....
I have 95 mm of sag, halfway through all the adjustments, so 8 clicks slower on re bound as well 8 clicks lower on compression than my regular settings, I'm 250 with gear and running 14/48 on Maxis soft rains (18 psi both ends), axel as far up the swing arm as possible to make the shortest wheel base...
I started my my races in second (always used to use first) then find 3rd asap. I found 3rd allowed lots of throttle and getting good traction  so I think 3rd was the hot ticket, the other Vids on clay the 48 maybe better than 46 I want to use more engine braking on the clay as its more consistent than the concrete........I'm signing up for flat track lessons from a couple local hot shots... I'm getting close so now its really time to hone in and get professional help (   )

Enjoy the Vids/Picts....yes thats my Berg with the Whistle/Whine

Thanks Boss, my Berg runs like crazy, doesn't leak a drop and starts easily.....20 hrs on her now with a billion oil changes and one valve adjustment.....a couple KTM guys have done a few laps and get off the bike shaking their heads mumbling, really nice/strong/smooth engine.....
well of coarse it is.... ITS A HUSABERG !!!!!

Enjoy !! 8) 8) OBTW my favorite two questions... "Is that Super Charged"?? and my favorite "Is that a Husenberg" ??

Brian, is that you w/ the SIDI supermoto boots on? Just picked up a pair and havn't had a chance to try 'em out. What do you think of 'em? How do the replaceable sliders work?

Yep that would be me !! The Sidi's are as comfy a boot as you are gonna find.......they come with black sliders which are soft and won't last long...replacements go with the orange ones they are tougher.....each kit comes with 3 pieces per boot and have two machine screws per slider to put on.... I have seen the new one piece jobbies that look great... I will find the link and PM you !!
One word to the wise......don't let the sliders wear down to where the heads of the screws are ground down....you can figure out why from there

Too late my friend, I used my new Sidi's at Stockton on Monday and ground those bad boys down. Now I get to sit in front of the TV tonight and try to get the remnants of screws out (already got a set of the "hard" red replacement pads....)

Re: Flat trackin on Clay and On Smooth Concrete Picts &

There are really 2 ways to get those screws out:

1. Use a drimmel to cut a notch in the head of the screw so you can put a flate bladed screw driver to get them out

2. (stinky version), use the drimmel to cut away the remaining parts of the sliders and your favorite pliers (or like tool) to screw them out.

The red sliders really do hold up a lot better than the black ones.

Ha, I use method # 2 of Ron's.........Its great to have you around Ron.... I'll bring my bike up so you can fine tune the rear lever :D :D
BTW I called Eastside and they will be stocking the sliders........they have everything else...... :D

Re: Flat trackin on Clay and On Smooth Concrete Picts &

I've got a couple sets of sliders I'll give you B.
