What's up new here in the Husaberg world.
Really thankful i found this forum since i've wanted a Supermoto bike for so long and don't regret getting a Husaberg.

Just wondering, changing the battery for the first time in my Husaberg FE450 07 (supermoto)
Is it smartest to remove it from the rear by unhooking rear shockabsorber?
Do you recommend changing anything with the battery? Aftermarket stuff so it will/would be easier in the future to change it again if it comes to that.

on a 450, definitely easier out the back. top shock bolt and black plastic mud guards.

+1, and using a tall bike stand will allow you to drop the swing-arm real low with the top of the shock detached allowing more room to squeeze the battery out and back in.

If you want to go off the beaten path a little bit, you can try a LiFePO4 battery, here's a pretty big thread on the difference: http://husaberg.org/electrical/19469-replacement-battery.html

They weigh less - it's very noticeable in my opinion! And they're supposed to have a longer lifetime than lead-acid so it should in theory make them cheaper. As in you don't need to buy a new battery as often.

If we ever go out riding here I can show you / let you hold one :) Ertu í Reykjavík?

Já er í Reykjavík, væri geggjað að fá að sjá þetta uppsett búin að vera leiðindi á batteríinu og mótornum ekkert búinn að hjóla í 2 vikur

Do i need spring stoppers when i remove the rear shock absorper?
