We headed out from the house to do some trail clearing for the local Rangers, only to run into snow before we found any downed trees.

We headed up the trail, which was snowed in, and ended up on a forest service road. The snow finally stopped us.

We live at the South end of the lake.

My beautiful wife, and bike of course! Lindsey wants me to point out, that her off-road jacket, combined with her chest protector, make her look "fat". Just a disclaimer to allow me to post said photos!

Here is a super crappy video I took, holding my iPhone with my left hand, and trying to ride behind my wife and Nephew.

We camp, and ride nearly every weekend from May-October. True, hard core enthusiasts we like to think, putting several thousand miles of trail riding on our bikes each year. Im going to post some of our rides, as there doesn't seem to be many posted on our great forum!

Where are you riding at? Ii it Gifford Penchot? Looks like a great place to ride.

We live in Roslyn (Central Cascades, eastern slopes, Washington State). So we ride an area called Teanaway from the house. We have special permission to ride the trails as long as we clear them, and report to the Rangers on our progress and trail conditions.

Usually by early June the high country has melted out and dried up, and the administrative closures are lifted. Our mountain camping/riding really begins then. My apologies if your from Washington and you know all of this!

Gifford Pinchot is incredibly good riding as well, though
