Hey Everybody,

Just bought a new berg and thought I would post it up n say gday! This is only my second motorcycle, having previously owned a moded YZ250f for a bit over a year, and is the first brand new anything i have had in a LONG time! :)

Super pumped about the new bike and while it is still early days Im loving it! 2.3hrs on it so far.

I have had a few things fitted to the bike to make it better for me n where I ride
Force radiator braces
rear disc protector
fork bleeders
frame protectors (still coming)
hand guards
3m film on the shrouds
wash kit (both)

Very nice,,,congratulations. Is that a 450 or 570 ? I don't know how to tell in pictures.

sorry, its a 450!

I do plan on fitting some small LED blinkers on the bike in the next few weeks as well, and getting the pipe massaged internally, will post up the results when done

got my led blinkers in ($15 Ozzie a pair thanks ebay!) And my carbon bits. I wasnt planning on getting the exhaust heat sheild, but I melted the crap out of my pants on Saturday maneuvering the bike between a rock and a hard place :)

Rear blinker pods with the std one next to it

Normally the rear blinkers would hang down low on the ugly extended number plate hanger, but I plan on putting mine up high where you can see the yellow X. shouldnt be able to get knocked off there and will look a damn site better!

Front led temporarily mounted, std one of opposite side

Anyone with experience on fitting LED's??? I have heard you need to fit a resistor to lower the voltage so they dont blink too quickly???

A mate just got a new harley too, so here's a couple picks with the brand new bikes hanging out!

You may not have to add resistors to increase the load if the flasher unit is a full electronic jobbie. They are mostly only needed for hot-wire type flasher cans.

PS. You make me sick! My second bike was a clapped out 1972 model Honda SL175. :D

I used the hella side clearance markers like you see on trucks and busses (the newer half circle LED ones) they fit up without any resistor, and rely on the bergs flasher unit, they do flash faster, but only a tad - the front standard ones flash faster too - at the same rate as the LEDs so all looks legit, and the Hellas look like OEM to the untrained eye.

Well done, that's a nice Berg!

Azza.

New Berg 450cc, New Harley 13,00,000cc..................... equals "Drag Race"!!!!!!! go on you know it makes sence.

Recession...? What recession ? Nice looking bikes man. All you need to do now is work on the time management to get to spend some time on them. I've got my FE550 & the FS650 & struggle to put more than 8 hrs a month riding either of them. Sucks.

Tell us all you didn't buy the Berg to match the color of the harley ?  :D

Noticed last night there are a set of brand-new unused wheels to fit an '09 on Oz eBay. Good if you or any one else wants a drop-on spare set!

Lol guys! It might be only my second bike, but Im 33 and have crashed and wrecked many of my friends bikes during my childhood and in the lead up to owning this one :). My 03 YZF250 has had a bit of a rough trot with me trying to keep up with friends that have been riding since day dot! The hand guards have more gouges than the skid plate :)

BTW the Harley ISNT mine

Thanks for the info on the blinkers Gents! Guess I will just have to fit them up and see if I have any issues!

Thanks jmumme I will bookmark that link in case I need it. Much neater to have the one unit instead of 2 or 4?? resistors

tintman the frame protectors are from Husaberg, they are an oem part.

couple helmet cam vids for you guys here too-

Its a Go Pro Wide and they are about $350-400. Top video for the money.

Will be more up there soon and will go faster as the bike runs in and I get more used to it!

just for you Taffy!

How does my bum look in this one?? :D
