G'day guys,

I started looking for a FS650 around April this year. I'm in Sydney Au. I started this thread viewtopic.php?f=20&t=16002 with some questions which were quickly answered.

Now I've finally found a 2004 MY05 FS650s - Force Edition with 24hrs on the clock, or just under 1600 kms.

Got it delivered to me this week. I had to change the battery as the old one was completely gone but before that I tried to kick start it. I got it going around kick number 400... with a nasty bruise on the left leg!! Will take some practice I think.

After changing the battery it started like a dream. Took it for a short spin around the block as it's not registered yet. Faaark... bike faaaar outperforms my ability. Gonna take some serious balls to tame this beast.

Anywho, here are a couple of pics. I'm sure I'm gonna hit you all up for some advice in time to come. Cheers fellas.

It's a filter for your carb vents mate, it stops fuel from leaking out uncontrolled when the carb over flows and crud from being sucked in.
