I asked for info on jetting for riding at alltitude in the Alps for my Fe450 and recieved some good info. Been meaning to give some feed back.

In the end I went down to168 on the MJ and did not touch anything else. Took a selection of MJ`s with me and found out there is KTM dealer not far from where we were stopping and figured I could get help there.
In the end that was all I had to do to the carb, the bike ran great. We were riding from 5000 to approx. 11000 feet. Two of my buddies were on Honda CRM 250 active radicals and ran ok stock, the Suzuki DR250 struggled on stock jetting.
On the sunday 8 July we did the Stella Alpina and three of us got to the top and on to the highest point where we ran out of breath, not the bikes but the riders. It was hard work man handling the bikes over rocks. The `berg ran great and I managed to get the highest on the day by about 50 feet. The bike would have gone further if I had not collapsed with exhaustion
A geat week`s riding, thanks for the help on jetting

Bill :D
