Even if you are going flat out.. it should not take more than 1,2 litres/10km. if you are running in second all day in deep sand it could go over that. Usually you will stay well below 1liter/10km.
The bergs sixth gear is a pure overdrive to keep revs down. Use this as often as you can.

My 650 goes a little over 100 km on the stock tank. I have the under seat with extends my mileage 140+ (110 miles). The under seat tank is pricey but well worth the expense. Clarke Manufacturing here in the states is bringing out a larger tank very soon. That might worth while...
