I've had hard starting since I bought this bike a few months ago and it's starting to annoy me to a point where I will put this thread up to ask if anyone else has had this problem and found how to get their bike starting a bit quicker.
I start it with the throttle closed and it takes the same amount of cranking to get it started when it's cold and hot. The starter seems to be winding the engine over quickly enough and the Lithium battery has plenty of power.
When cranking the engine initially there is no sign of it firing for the first 5 ish compression strokes then the engine starts to pick up and after another 4 or 5 compression strokes fires fully and runs. When it's running it runs perfectly.
The odd thing is when the engine is hot and stopped for any longer than 20 or so seconds it is just as hard to start as when it was cold. Shut the engine down and immediately hit the starter and it fires up on the first compression.
It's not the end of the world but is annoying.....
Thanks
Lance
