Hi all.I have a fe570 2010 model with 55hrs 2300ks, a couple of times i have bumped the gear lever when riding and it has half shifted gear it makes a bit of a crunch noise and goes into the next gear this has only happend 2times because of bumping the lever and once i didnt shift it properly and the same result happened.Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen.Thanks for you help
 
I've had it happen on my 400 in about 2004/5 and eventually I couldn't stop the bike popping back into neutral. I had rounded the corners off the dogs.

Thanks for the info it it ive only done it from 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th.when i had the bike serviced the mechanic removed the wrong drain plug it had the spring and ball on it he reinstalled the plug and finished the service this wouldnt have anything to do with it.

once you start missing gears it becomes self-perpetuating....
