Hi all, new member from Oregon, US, here. I’ve recently purchased a 2005 FE550 and it needs a new kick stand. The stand that was on it was a badly mangled ktm stand. It was in such rough shape I cannot tell if it ever actually fit well, like the factory stand. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to locate a new, factory, LONG side stand. Can anyone tell me if there is an alternative to the factory stand? Will a ktm or husqvarna stand work if properly fitted? Or, does someone have a technical drawing of the factory stand so I can have one built locally?
