Fe450 map switch/dial

On my fe450 I have the dial to select an ecu map. Can anyone tell me which number does what? I've tried a few and can't really tell

Is it really a 450 ? not a 400 ?

If it's a 450 it's not OEM, and I never saw one.

It's an '09 bike right? Zaga you're thinking about the older gen bikes if I'm not mistaken?

Do you have the dial with the multiple settings, like 12 or 15 settings or something? This info is known - try here for example: http://husaberg.org/electrical/17114-map-switch.html

1 = soft
2 = hard
3 to 10 = standard

And of course you know to shut the bike off between the different positions and restart for changes in the map to occur and of course drive the hell out of it

I have the Trail tech 3 position on my 390 i can tell the differences in the bike when i change it good purchase ..picked up the two position trail tech for my TE 250 I've yet to install it .waiting for the 2 feet of snow to go away on my trails :furious:

2ft of snow. Amazing !

I've had a look at trail tech but they dont seem to do anything for the fe450 09 model year :-(

Yes they start at the 2010 model year only for º70 series bikes ?

weird, must be a catalog glitch on the level of a typo - nothing of any significance was different between 2009-2010

Probably but I looked at Cycle Buy and their listing for the Trail Tech switch also references the 2010-2012 model years. I would ask first.

Can it be fitted to 2010 FX 450 or is it a FE thing?

it goes on any of them: 390 - 450 -570 the lot.
